Monday (day 123)

Good evening all. Great news. Shawna has been admitted to Chedoke for rehab. She leaves the Hospital tomorrow at 10.00 am for a three month stay at the Holbrook building. We are so thankfull for the dedicated nurses and our doctor Reddy at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital. They have made our time spent at the hospital a beautiful time to remember as they took care of their "princess" as they called her. Deb is out tonight buying her lots of loose fitting clothes for her exercise routines as she wont be wearing only a night gown anymore. Soon they will train us to take care of her for her to come home over the weekends when everything is ready at home. The timeline is now definite that she will be home in three months. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Al and Deb

Bethlehems, Hoeksemas, and Shawna's others,
Indeed, we may stand amazed at the blessings God provides in his time! So good to hear that Shawna's rehabilitation process is progressing steadily, to the point where the thought of extended stays at home is conceivable! May God continue to guide the healing process, and may you continue to find your source of strength and patience in God's covenantal love. May he be your refuge at all times!
Sincerely,
Ryan Kampen & Jessica Bartels

So many little steps...and now...a leap into the next stage! Congratulations on Shawna's graduation! Wishing you all strength, patience, joy , laughter and courage as you enter the next part of your journey. You may do it in the confidence that God is steering your course. May He continue to give you all you stand in need of, as He so clearly has been doing already.
With warm regards,

As I am writing this, Shawna is most likely nearing the doors of her new "home" for three months. How we have prayed for this! God has brought her this place, breath by breath and step by step.
It is so good to hear the progress that Shawna has made! And now, only three months until she can come home once again.
May God's love encompass you, His strength sustain you, His glory shine over you, and His Grace surround you. We continue to pray for all of these for you.
Congratulations on another big step toward Shawna's recovery!

Dear Bethlehem family, Darryl and loved ones of Shawna:
Wow!! What great news! How good is our God. He walks with us each and every day, and gives us encouragements and new hope every time we need it. We are so happy for you all that He has brought Shawna to the point where she is now ready for "booth camp". Knowing her, she will be working as hard as she can, and may the Lord bless all the work of the doctors and nurses at Chedoke as He has done also in Dunnville. We do have a lot to be thankful for We have a great little hospital in Dunnville.

Wow, what amazing news! Our Lord truly is an awesome Lord - He has upheld Shawna in her recovery, and the whole family in the time they spend caring for her!
May God continue to bless Shawna in her healing, and all those who care for her!

To God be the glory, great things He has done;
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.

Great things He has taught us, great things He has done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.

Still praying for you all!
God bless!
